Revolving Summer House in the style of Boulton & Paul
A top quality bespoke recreation of a classic Boulton &
Paul revolving summer house built on an original base. These summer houses were popular in the Victorian and Edwardian period
prior to Boulton & Paul moving into aircraft manufacture c1915. The structure can be rotated easily by hand to face the sun
and/or shield the occupants from the wind.
Original Boulton & Paul summerhouses periodically surface in architectural salvage
yards but typically need major restoration over a century after they were originally made. A discerning and long standing
client of ours asked if we could build one to their exacting standards for the garden of their country residence and were delighted
with the result.
